New Delhi: After Punjab and Delhi, the BJP seems to be worried about the increasing strength of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in other states. It is reported that the BJP has asked its state units to devise a strategy, through which AAP can be prevented from becoming the main opposition party in place of Congress. Recently, after a massive victory in Punjab, AAP has started preparations for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections. Assembly elections are to be held in both the states at the end of the year.

According to media reports, a senior party functionary has told that all BJP units have been asked not to allow AAP to strengthen the organisation. He said that, 'State units have been asked to include such leaders of AAP, who agree to join BJP without any condition'. Let us inform that apart from the election states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, AAP is also focusing on Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Along with Karnataka, BJP is a direct rival of Congress in all the above states.

A senior BJP leader has said that, 'Recently in Gujarat, more than 500 AAP leaders sitting at different levels have handed over to the BJP. AAP CM Face and others join BJP in Uttarakhand. The inclusion of senior AAP leaders in the electoral states of Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat or Uttarakhand has dealt a blow to the BJP's plans to expand to other states after the victory in Punjab.

First provoke people, then apply the ointment of appearance..! Mehbooba Mufree did the same thing in the Amrin Bhatt case."
