BLACKPINK is prepared to use its unstoppable power to "Shut Down" the entire planet. Members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa offer us a preview of what to expect at the end of the week in the first music video teaser for their next single.
Blackpink released the first teaser for the music video for the title track, "Shut Down," off their upcoming second full-length album, "Born Pink," which will be released on September 16. The song makes references to classical music, as was already said, and you can hear a violin playing in the background.
The music video will ostensibly pay homage to many of BLACKPINK's earlier songs, including the group's first single "BOOMBAYAH," "PLAYING WITH FIRE," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," and "Pretty Savage," among others. The film also featured many instances of Rosé's "GONE" with the infamous "BLACKPINK in your region" messages sprayed on them.

Each of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa exhibits a highly distinctive, captivating style. The members are seen taking over the song with their magnificent presence in four separate moments. It promises to be a top-notch production, as one would anticipate from the legendary girl group.
BLACKPINK previously released their pre-release single, "Pink Venom," on August 19, and it was met with a warm global welcome for the girl group's return after nearly two years. Along with 'Ready For Love,' which was heard in a prior gaming collaboration, 8 tracks from the future album release were also made public.
