The global crypto market capitalization during the last 24 hours increased to USD 2.39 trillion from USD 2.35 trillion, while trading volume increased to USD 75.03 billion from USD 72.62 billion on December 27.

Stablecoins' market capitalization/valuation increased 0.03 percent to USD  160.66 billion in the previous 24 hours, accounting for 6.57 percent of the overall cryptocurrency market size. Stablecoins are a sort of cryptocurrency that has its value tied to an external asset to keep the price stable, such as the US dollar or any other fiat money or gold.

In terms of key cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin ROSE by 1.7 percent to Rs 40,09,779, while Ethereum advanced by 0.24 percent to Rs 3,21,225.4. Cardano is currently, during the morning session,  trading at Rs 115.1965, up 1.5 percent. Avalanche increased by 0.11 percent to Rs 9,050, while Polkadot increased by nearly 8% to Rs 2,482.99. Litecoin, on the other hand, fell 1.07 percent to USD 12,399.95 in the last 24 hours, while Tether remained unchanged at Rs 78.86.
