Although she could not make it to the final at Miss Universe 2022 but her look created storms all over the internet. The most important part of her look that catches all the eyes is her attire as she dressed like Maa Kali.
Sophiya walked the stage as Goddess Kali during the National Costume round at Miss Universe 2022. She wore a red outfit and held a trident in her hand to turn into Goddess Kali at the Miss Universe 2022. She walked the stage in a red sari with golden prints paired with a red blouse. She was participating in the National Costume Competition of Miss Universe in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The pictures of her were shared with the caption,”The red color denotes the blood and symbolizes the power of creation. The Trishul / trident represents the trinity of Creation Life and Death. The accessories symbolize the various aspects how our physical body is the yantra or the vehicle to create magic in this universe. This costume reminds us of our own strength. It reiterates the fact that each woman is a boundless source of energy.
The Nepali Beauty took her tongue out and painted her forehead with a third eye to turn into Goddess Kali, who represents strength and the destruction of evil. She also wore a nose ring and a golden necklace, while her costume represented ‘Shakti’. The Nepalese model, along with the other contestants, participated in a parade with the reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu during the costume round.
