NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, wearing a jacket made from recycled plastic bottles, on Wednesday replied to the Motion of Thanks on President Droupadi Murmu's address, calling her an 'inspiration for all'. 

LOk Sabha anbd Rajya Sabha witnessed chaos as Opposition MPs targetted the ruling government over Hindenburg-Adani row, inflation and unemployment, among other issues. 

Meanwhile, BJP MPs retorted to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks linking PM Modi and industrialist Gautam Adani on the previous day.

Earlier on Tuesday, Parliament seen a heated discussion on the President's speech after three days of stalemate over Hindenburg-Adani row. While BJP members lauded the many initiatives of the Modi government, the Opposition accused the ruling alliance of not paying adequate attention to important issues like inflation and unemployment. Opposition members also accused the BJP-led Centre of being “afraid” to take up a discussion on the Adani row.
The motion of thanks regarding the President's Address to Parliament will be answered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister and the government were assaulted by the opposition, which was led by Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, mentioned the Adani controversy in his Lok Sabha speech. He claimed that only one company, Adani Group, "gets all the contracts, including the ones overseas," as a result of favouritism by the central government. "He previously flew in Adani's aircraft, and now Adani flies in Modi's aircraft. The issue was initially restricted to Gujarat, then the nation, and is currently going global, "Gandhi commented on the President's speech during the motion of thanks. He claimed, "When the Prime Minister returned from Australia, SBI handed Adani a $1 billion loan as if by magic. When the prime minister arrives in Bangladesh, the nation's power development board contracts Adani for 25 years." Rahul Gandhi questioned, "How much money Adani provided to the BJP in the last 20 years."
