The stories of dacoits like Paan Singh Tomar, Phoolan Devi, Nirbhay Singh Gujjar and Man Singh are still household tales in the fearful of the vicinity of Chambal. Scores of films have been made on the land of Chambal, and now, Fans of Hindi cinema have one more compelling tale – Sonchiriya which stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. After sharing the first look poster, the makers of the dacoit drama have now out the teaser of the film. It looks convincing story which set in the 1970s and revolves around the dacoits of the Chambal valley.

In the opening of the teaser the strong voice-over by Manoj in the background played. You also see a village that has been taken over by the dacoits. The very first scene of the teaser clears the very foundation of the film and  the teaser has glimpses of all the characters Sushant, Manoj and Ranvir . They are shown as realistic as it can be and the language used in the teaser adds to the down-to-earth quotient even more. So far not scores of films have been shot in Chambal but interestingly Sonchiriya has been shot at the real locations.
