On August 31st, Sungmin released a special video for the new song "Blooming" on YouTube and the Naver TV SMTOWN channels, teasing the release of a digital single on September 7th. 'Blooming,' a medium-tempo pop genre written and composed by Seongmin, features a lovely piano tone and a harmonizing guitar sound. Warm and lovely lyrics like 'I'll take you one step closer to today, my wish is to always be with you and 'I'll offer you a little flower tomorrow, the fluttering flower that grows because of you' are memorable.

Sungmin transforms into a lovesick person who wishes for their loved one to always be happy and travel along a flowery road. He promises to bring flowers every day to make a person like him again, and he would do whatever it takes to keep this person happy. The lovely xylophone notes towards the conclusion of the song, as well as the beige tone that is prevalent throughout the MV, giving the song a whimsical feel. Sungmin has a young appearance with his blonde hair, cream-colored sweater vest, white t-shirt, and denim shorts. The MV was a beautiful tune with a great OST potential for a rom-com drama!
