Union minister Nitin Gadkari fainted today at an political event in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Gadkari was present on a stage when he fainted and within seconds he fell down.Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, who was also sharing the stage , caught hold of Gadkari.

Gadkari was then immediate taken to a hospital. Reports suggested that Gadkari was in Ahmednagar for the convocation ceremony of the Mahatma Phule Agricultural University.

Before falling down Gadkari addressed the ceremony and returned to his seat but a few moments later when Gadkari stood up for the national anthem, he all of a sudden fainted and almost fell down.

It took full 10 minutes before Gadkari's condition improved. Reports said that he was fed a sweet and was given some water before being taken to a hospital.

Now Nitin Gadkari's condition is said to be stable and doctors are evaluating his physical condition. The initial suspicion is that Nitin Gadkari fainted due to low blood sugar levels.
