Film ’83 is a sports drama which is based on India's historic triumph against West Indies at the 1983 Cricket World Cup and the Simmba actor had recently shared a photo with former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev, whose role the actor is supposed to be essaying in the film. As per the report, it is slated to go on floors in London on May 15.  Pankaj Tripathi, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Saqib Saleem, Jiiva, Jatin Sarna, Sahil Khattar among other actors add up to the huge ensemble cast of the movie. Directed by Kabir Khan, who has previously helmed Salman Khan's Tubelight and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, '83  is slated for an April 10, 2020 release.
