Kushinagar: Heavy rain has started raining in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. Several districts have been inundated due to rain. People are facing a lot of difficulties. More than 100 people on board the boat were stranded in Kushinagar. They were crossing the Narayani river by boat, but the engine of the boat stopped in the middle of the river. Due to which all the people got stuck in the Central River. It has been revealed that the flow of water in the river was also very fast. All the people were evacuated safely after an overnight rescue operation.

NDRF official PL Sharma said that several people were reported trapped due to the engine of the boat being switched off at around 11 pm last night. A team of NDRF rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. All the people have been rescued. Now, nobody is trapped in the river.

District Collector S Rajlingam said that several people were reported trapped on the boat. All the people have been rescued. This was reported to NDRF and SDRF.
