New Delhi: People faced waterlogging when the 1500 MM diameter South Delhi main pipeline of Delhi Jal Board burst at West Enclave, Pitampura on the outer ring road. Due to this, the drinking water supply will be affected in many areas of West Delhi and South Delhi on Friday.

According to Delhi Jal Board, the 1500 MM diameter South Delhi main pipeline is scheduled to be repaired on Friday i.e. Due to this, drinking water supply will be affected in Budhela, D-Block Janakpuri, Sagarpur and adjoining areas, Delhi Cantt, R.K. Puram, Katwaria Sarai, Ber Sarai, Green Park, Safdarjung Enclave, Hauz Khas, Munirka Village and DDA Flat, Kishan Garh, Masjid Moth Village, Mehrauli and adjoining areas IIT, JNU, Safdarjung Deer Park and its surrounding areas.

The Jal Board has requested the residents of these areas to store an adequate quantity of water and tankers can also be ordered from Delhi Jal Board in case of shortage of water.
