Bengaluru: An argument broke out between the saint and Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai at an event over rain-affected parts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. When Saint Ishwaranandapura Swami accused the Chief Minister from the dais, Bommai answered his questions. Ishwaranandapura Swamiji said that we always see heavy rains in Bengaluru, when it rains people's representatives and BBMP officials go there. There is no permanent solution for this.
Swamiji said that once it rains, the officers do not understand where they have to work. A very good response was given by the CM, he promised a permanent solution to this problem in Bengaluru. We don't believe in promises. When Swamiji was speaking from the dais, many people including Chief Minister Bommai were sitting next to him on the dais. As soon as Swamiji made the allegation, the Chief Minister responded by taking the mike from his hand. The question-and-answer process took the form of a debate on the stage.
Chief Minister Bommai said that this is not just a promise. The project has been approved regarding this and the fund has also arrived. Bommai said that I am not the only CM who makes promises. If I promise, I fulfill it. Otherwise, I don't promise. I am not afraid of anyone, I had given funds to Mahadevpura.
