The makers, star cast, and fans of RRR are on cloud nine as their film won some of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry. RRR after winning the best original song award at the Golden globes won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The film also won the Best song award for Naatu Naatu. However, on the one hand, people are praising the team meanwhile, on the other hand, some people are criticising the film and actors for different reasons.

Jr NTR recently got brutally for his accent during his speech. He has finally reacted to the trolling over his ‘American accent’ during an interview. The actor speaking about his trolling over his American accent said, “We are just divided by time zones and a little bit of an accent. Other than that, what an actor goes through in the West is exactly the same process as in the East.”

He further spoke about RRR director SS Rajamouli and said, "I always felt this man was not destined to make only films in Telugu or in India. He is one of those rare phenomenons who can travel the globe with his films. With each film, he’s only gotten better. I feel that ‘RRR’ was his plan of taking the West. What makes us very proud is that a small industry from South India, Tollywood, and one movie called ‘RRR’ could open the gates to global cinema and bring us here,"

Speaking of RRR, it is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan played Ram, NTR was seen as Bheem. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
