Patna: In the Nawada district of Bihar, villagers thrashed 6 people wearing saffron and begging in the guise of a saint. The case pertains to Chatar village under the Akbarpur police station area. According to the report, all the accused are Muslims and they were begging in the village in the guise of Hindu saints. When people got suspicious, they questioned the so-called saints. It came to know that they are begging to earn money.

After which the villagers caught hold of them and started beating them. Meanwhile, some people from Hindu organizations also reached the spot and immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and arrested all the accused. Bajrang Dal leader Jitendra alias Jeetu said that these people have played with our faith by dressing up as Hindu saints. Strict action should be taken against them. It is being told that 25 to 30 such people in the area are begging people by posing as fake saints. The villagers have demanded from the police that such people should be arrested.

On the other hand, when the villagers were beating these 6 fake saints, someone present there made a video of them. Which is becoming fiercely viral on social media. Police said that all the arrested accused youths are residents of Uttar Pradesh. They have been identified as Kalim Ahmed, Rashid, Amjad Khan, Armaan Ali, Subhan Ali, and Ehsaan. All are residents of Takaria village in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. The police team has started searching for other people who are misleading people in the same way.
