Lucknow: The Weather Department has forecast the rain on Wednesday. According to this, heavy rain will be seen on 12 August in the cities of Purvanchal, Terai and Central Uttar Pradesh. However, the cities of the Braj area are also included in it, where the rain will continue on Wednesday. Due to rain, there may be some problem in Mathura, because devotees reach Mathura in large numbers on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The weather department has forecast rainfall in Mathura.

Rain will continue in Lucknow and nearby cities as well. From Tuesday evening till late night, there was rain in Lucknow and nearby cities. This can continue till Thursday 13 August. There is also relief from heat and humidity due to rain. According to the forecast by the Weather Department, the cities that are likely to receive rains by the afternoon are Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Banaras, Ambedkaranagar, Basti, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Amethi, Prayagraj, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli. , Fatehpur, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Auraiya, Kannauj, Mathura, Hathras, Aligarh, Agra, Meerut, Moradabad and Bijnor.

According to the estimates of the Weather Department, on August 11, most of the cities of the state received rain. Hamirpur recorded the highest rainfall at 71 mm. 53 mm of rainfall was recorded in Prayagraj. Shahjahanpur recorded 35 mm of rainfall, while Najibabad and Gorakhpur recorded nearly 20 mm of rainfall. Orai recorded 18 mm of rainfall. According to the Weather Department, on August 12 and August 13, there is a possibility of good rainfall in about 20 cities of the state. These include cities from Eastern UP to Western UP.
