Delhi: Several people were killed in separate incidents of thunderstorm in the country on Thursday night, while more than 50 people were injured. In up Mainpuri, at least 6 people were killed. There have been 41 injuries. Traffic was also disrupted in many places due to fallen trees on the national and state highways.

The meteorological Director on Friday said that the threat of the typhoon has not yet been averted. The trouble will remain for the next two to three days. People have been advised to be vigilant while walking the rainstorm.

The same was reported on Friday night with strong winds raining in Mainpuri, ETA, Kasganj, Moradabad, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Farrukhabad, Badaun and Pilibhit in the state. Hail also fell in several districts. According to the police, most of the people who were sleeping in their homes due to late-night storms lost their lives or were wounded. They did not get a chance to recuperat.
