New Delhi: The month of August has come to an end. But still the rain is not taking the name of stoppage in some places. Heavy rains across India have also exposed the drawbacks of the drainage system. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding the upcoming weather. There is a possibility of rain in many places.

Giving information, officials of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) have said that the weather will remain pleasant in Delhi due to extremely light rain or gusting rain on Monday at 25 kmph winds. Heavy rains have been forecast over southwest Rajasthan, parts of Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Currently, many states including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka are facing floods. There is a low pressure area in western Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Rajasthan.

Telangana has received more than normal rainfall in the last few days. Meteorologists say that this year has received 42 mm more rain than normal till the end of August. The normal rainfall is 584.2 mm, but this time 830.1 mm rainfall has been recorded in the state.
