Met department predicts no rain for Delhi-NCR in this week

New Delhi: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, cloudy skies over the past few days in the national capital have moved towards Haryana and Rajasthan due to strong winds. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there will be no more rain in Delhi till August 1, though light drizzle will bring relief to the people from the heat.

As per the bulletin issued by the Department, the possibility of heavy rains in Delhi from 27th July to 1st August has been reported, but the possibility of heavy rains which was expressed earlier by the Department has been withdrawn. Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal may get good rainfall till the first week of August.

So far, the monsoon rainfall in the country has been recorded at about 19 per cent less. Mumbai is likely to receive heavy rains on July 28, 29. Most parts of India are likely to receive good monsoon rainfall in the first week of August. Delhi has not been experiencing good rains for the past few days, causing a lot of inconvenience to the people of the national capital.
