Met department predicts Rain in Bihar, people will get relief from humid heat

Patna: Patna, the capital of Bihar and its adjoining areas are in the dark on Tuesday. Several areas of the state have witnessed a drop in temperature after moderate rains in several parts of the state on Monday. Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 27.0 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. According to Patna Meteorological Centre, Bhagalpur recorded a minimum temperature of 25.8 degrees Celsius, Gaya 24.8 and Purnea 24.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

The Met Department in its forecast said that most parts of the state will be partially cloudy during the next 24 hours while rain is expected in the north and eastern parts of the state. However, the Met department has not predicted heavy rain. On Monday, Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Patna on Tuesday is expected to be around 37.0 degrees Celsius. Bhagalpur has recorded 5.80 mm of rain during the last 24 hours. According to the Met department , the weather is likely to cool down in the coming days due to rain in Bihar .
