New Delhi: After heavy rains in Delhi, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of good rain for the next two to three days. On Thursday, Delhi-NCR areas received the best rainfall this monsoon. There was heavy rainfall in Mumbai and surrounding areas. According to the Meteorological Department, this series of rains will continue throughout the country for the next two-three days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has made the forecast clear that heavy rain is expected in most parts of the country for the next two-three days. The Meteorological Department said that there is a low-pressure area on the Bay of Bengal near the coast of North Odisha and West Bengal. Due to the southwest winds, torrential rains are expected in most parts of the country for the next two days.

In 8 districts of Madhya Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has issued an 'Orange Alert' regarding heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Department's statement, parts of northern India including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan may receive rain for the next two days. Heavy is expected in western India including Gujarat, Goa, Konkan and parts of central Maharashtra for the next 4-5 days.
