New Delhi: The cold outbreak continues in different parts of the country. In many states of North India, the continuous fall in temperature is being recorded. While some states are experiencing heavy fog, light to moderate rain is expected in some states. In many states of North India, the temperature has dropped by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the light fog will occur in western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Rajasthan today. Cold conditions are expected to rise in these states in the coming 2 days. This morning, dense fog was seen in many areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh. Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are experiencing heavy snowfall, due to which the plains are expected to grow colder.

The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 5.3 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning, which was 3 degrees Celsius below normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 18 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5 degree Celsius in the country's capital on Wednesday. The mercury has dropped to 4 degrees in Delhi today. There are constant cold winds in the city.
