The MET department has recently said that the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 4 degrees Celsius today while the maximum temperature is likely to touch 20 degrees Celsius.

In addition, the maximum temperature maybe 9 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the temperature will fall further in Leh. In fact, there may be a minimum temperature of minus 16 degrees. With this, the maximum temperature is expected to be minus three degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is said to go up to 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature to 23 degrees Celsius in UP capital Lucknow today.

Fog is likely to prevail in the sky here. In Patna, the minimum temperature will be 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 22 degrees Celsius. According to the MET department, the minimum temperature in Bhopal is likely to fall to 10 degrees Celsius today while the maximum temperature is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius. Let me tell you that the melting cold is likely to continue in north India including Delhi in the coming days. The Met department has predicted a severe cold wave in Delhi till January 3. At the same time, the minimum temperature when 2 degrees Celsius is gone or 6 degrees above normal. If recorded 4 degrees Celsius less, such a condition is called a 'severe' cold wave. The minimum temperature is expected to rise from January 4 due to western disturbances or western disturbances.

It is said that heavy rain and snowfall are expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh between January 4 and 7. Light to moderate and heavy rain is also expected at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh between January 5 and 7.
