New Delhi: Only one day is left until the month of April begins. But, this time, summer is going to knock late. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of heavy rains in the entire north of India for the next few days. The onset of the heatwave is delayed this time due to two western disturbances coming from Afghanistan and Iran. The IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall for the next two days in 17 states, from Jammu and Kashmir to Rajasthan. There is also a possibility of hailstorms in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and East Rajasthan. The reports say that the heatwave should not last for the next two weeks. The main reasons behind this are two western disturbances. The first Western disturbance moving from Afghanistan reached Jammu and Kashmir on March 27. The second Western Disturbance is moving eastward through Iran. It was seen in Pakistan on March 29.

The weather will remain like this throughout the week: IMD has said that due to a western disturbance, the weather may remain like this for the whole week. Due to the disturbance, there may be rain and thundershowers over the western Himalayan states. The names of the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and East and West Rajasthan have also been added to this. However, most of the impact of the disturbance will be in the South Peninsula and Central. Rainfall activity is also expected to be above normal here.
