The Meteorological Department has said that there could be dust storms in Delhi, West-Eastern Uttar Pradesh today. There may be heavy rains in Gujarat, Goa, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Odisha. On the other hand, heavy rainfall is also expected in eastern Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and parts of Bihar. Significantly, the Meteorological Department has estimated that monsoon in Delhi may come on June 29 and there may be pre-monsoon rains on 27th June.

In the country, 11 people were killed in different incidents of rain and lightning, people in northern India could not get relief from the heat.
Due to the starting of south-western monsoon, heavy rains in Mumbai and neighboring Thane district. An official of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation disaster management unit said today that two people died due to a tree collapse in south Mumbai last evening.

An officer of the Regional Disaster Management Cell told that a 13-year-old boy was killed and his parents were injured when a wall of a house collapsed at Vadol village late last night in Thane.
On the other hand, due to heavy rains in many parts of southern Gujarat, especially in Valsad, Surat and Navsari districts, water was flooded in the area and normal lifespan became tough.
The official, however,r said that there is no news of any damage due to torrential rains. An official of the state disaster management told that five people were killed in the incident of lightning in West Bengal and one person was drowned in the river.

Due to the danger of all major rivers flowing below the level of danger in Assam, there has been a minor improvement in the situation of flood situation in the state. Meanwhile, two more people died in the state, in which the number of people killed in flood-related incidents increased to 26.
 

According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), due to flood, a total of 96,993 people are affected in five districts, whereas in the last six months, 1.94 lakh people were affected by it. Karimganj has the highest number of affected 59,023 people, whereas other districts affected by floods include Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Cachar and Helakandi.

In the national capital Delhi, people are facing grueling heat and maximum temperature was four degrees Celsius more than 42.7 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 32.6 degree Celsius, which is four degrees Celsius above normal.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of partial cloudburst and dust storm in the evening sky. Heavy rainfall also took place in Uttar Pradesh and Banda was the hottest place where maximum temperature was recorded at 45 degree Celsius.
