New Delhi: On one hand, the outbreak of cold is increasing in North India, on the other hand, there is a threat of cyclonic storms and heavy rains in South India. Let us tell you that from Delhi-NCR to UP-Bihar and from Rajasthan to Haryana-Himachal Pradesh, the temperature is continuously falling and the temperature is continuously decreasing. Along with this, warnings of heavy rain have been issued in many states of South India including Tamil Nadu. In fact, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in many parts of South India including Tamil Nadu and it is believed that the cyclone is going to hit the coast of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh today.

In fact, the threat of cyclonic storm 'Mandous' is looming large and it is believed that once again the weather will deteriorate and there will be heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. With this, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for 13 districts of Tamil Nadu. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains following the low pressure forming over the southeast Bay of Bengal. Apart from this, the low-pressure area is likely to turn into a cyclonic storm 'Mandous'.

At the same time, there will be strong winds with heavy rains and the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Tamil Nadu's Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Chennai, Kallakurichi, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam districts. Apart from this, six teams of NDRF i.e. National Disaster Response Force have been deployed in some parts of Tamil Nadu amid a red alert for rain in the state. On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, apart from Tamil Nadu, there is a possibility of rain in Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Karaikal, and other parts of South India. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in these areas till December 7-9.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression and is very likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm today i.e. around the evening of December 07 and then over north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and adjoining south by December 8. From the coasts of Andhra Pradesh to the Southwest Bay of Bengal.
