New Delhi: Monsoon is likely to pick up the pace once again in several states including West Bengal, Bihar. The MET department has predicted maximum rainfall in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh in the next 5 days. In fact, a low-pressure area is situated on the northwest and adjoining West-Central Bay of Bengal, off the coasts of south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh. It may move west, northwest in the next two days.

According to reports, heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, Telangana, and Jharkhand on Wednesday and Thursday, and West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha till August 20. According to the MET department, Delhi will receive light rainfall in different areas between 18 and 21. The maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degrees Celsius on August 17. The temperature will drop from August 18.

Most of the temperatures in Najafgarh, Pitampura, and East Delhi sports complexes were recorded at 38 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius during the day. According to weather forecast experts, good rainfall in the last 10 days of the month in Delhi is expected to meet the rainfall deficit in the capital. Some cities in Rajasthan are likely to receive the highest rainfall on August 18. Talking about hilly Himachal Pradesh, the rain will continue here. The MET department had issued a three-day yellow alert for the highest rainfall.
