New Delhi: The states of North India have been reeling from heat waves and scorching heat for the past few days. Different parts of the country are witnessing thunderstorms and rain activities, which shows that the mood of the weather has changed. According to the IMD, there is no warning of the heatwave in any part of the country for the next 4 days. There may be light cloudy conditions in Delhi today, May 29th. However, the maximum temperature is likely to cross 40°C. The minimum temperature in Delhi today is recorded at 27 degrees, and the highest temperature is 41 degrees. There may be light rain in Delhi tomorrow i.e. on May 30th. If the IMD's prediction is considered, the minimum temperature in UP's capital Lucknow today will be 26 degrees with a maximum temperature of 42 degrees.

Light clouds can also remain today with the minimum temperature in Ghaziabad with a record of 28 degrees, and the maximum temperature of 39 degrees. Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh is likely to have a minimum temperature of 27 degrees and a maximum temperature of 40 degrees today. In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the minimum temperature is likely to be 29 degrees and the maximum temperature is 41 degrees. The Meteorological Department has given good news about the monsoon. India Meteorological Department says that the monsoon is expected to reach Kerala by May 29-30.

Normally, the monsoon hits Kerala by June 1. But this time the monsoon may hit Kerala ahead of time. Before the arrival of the monsoon, it is raining heavily in different parts of Kerala. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Kerala is going to be the same for the next few days. Kerala is likely to witness rain and thunderstorm activity for the next few days. 

The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers accompanied by, lightning and strong winds in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal during the next four to five days. North-eastern India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Kerala, Lakshadweep and south coastal Karnataka are likely to receive extreme rainfall at one or two places with light to moderate rainfall. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of the western Himalayas. Light rain is likely to occur over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, east Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal and Konkan and Goa. Light rain is possible in one or two parts of Odisha and Telangana.
