New Delhi: In the second phase of the monsoon, many states are witnessing rainfall activities. According to the news given by the Meteorological Department, there is an alert of heavy rains in many states from Uttarakhand to Tripura. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today, August 10, the depression over Chhattisgarh and adjoining east Madhya Pradesh will turn into a low-pressure area. During the next 24 hours, it is very likely to move west-northwestwards and gradually weaken into a low-pressure area.

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Uttarakhand today i.e. on August 10. At the same time, Himachal Pradesh will also see rain activities with thundershowers. Scattered rainfall and thundershowers are expected at a few places over southeast Rajasthan from August 10 to 13. At the same time, heavy rains are expected in western Rajasthan on August 12 and 13.  

Several areas of Odisha may receive heavy rainfall today and on August 13. At the same time, heavy rains with thundershowers are expected in Gangetic West Bengal on August 10, 11 and 13. Jharkhand will also receive heavy rainfall on August 10, 11 and 13. According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, rain activities will also be seen in the northeast states. According to IMD, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura will see heavy rainfall on August 10 and 13. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Konkan, Goa. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the coastal ghats of Gujarat, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
