New Delhi: Cold wave conditions are being witnessed in the plains amidst snowfall in the mountains. At present, the national capital Delhi is shivering with cold and the coolness has left everyone in a state of shock. Punjab and Haryana are also reeling under cold wave conditions. Moreover, the shivers in Uttar Pradesh have increased. In Rajasthan, dewdrops are becoming snow like Kashmir. In Madhya Pradesh, people are trembling with the cold. From Kashmir to Rajasthan, the temperature has touched minus in several cities of north Indian states.

The cold wave conditions have changed rapidly after December half and have led to a drop in temperature in north Indian states. The cold wave has now affected the body despite the sunshine during the day. The MET department (IMD) has recently said that the freezing of Rajasthan and plains is due to snowfall in the mountains. In Srinagar, the temperature has touched -6 degrees Celsius. Talking about Himachal, the temperature has gone up to minus in many parts of Uttarakhand and Kashmir.

In fact, the atmosphere in Delhi is also not right. The temperature dropped to 3.2 degrees Celsius a day earlier on Monday, the lowest temperature recorded this season. At the same time, if the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts are met, the minimum temperature will rise as cold northwesterly winds slow down from Tuesday night due to western disturbances. At present, the impact of snowfall on the mountains is also visible in the weather in Rajasthan.

The MET department has also issued a cold wave alert for Churu, Hanumangarh, Jhunjhunu and Sikar today i.e. Fatehpur Shekhawati has surpassed Sonamarg in Jammu and Kashmir. In fact, the temperature in Fatehpur has touched minus 5 degrees Celsius. According to the weather forecast, cold wave conditions will prevail over central and eastern India for the next three days.
