New Delhi: The outbreak of weather updates of states is being witnessed in various states of the country. However, in the meantime, there is a good news that the monsoon is also going to knock soon. After reaching Andaman And Nicobar islands early, the southwest monsoon is moving towards Kerala and the meteorological department has predicted it to hit the state by the middle of next week.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Thursday evening that conditions will remain favourable for the further advance of the southwest monsoon in Kerala till the end of the week. In such a situation, if the southwest monsoon starts in Kerala by the end of this week, it will be the first time in recent years. However, the monsoon had earlier reached Kerala on May 23 in 2009. The Meteorological Department had predicted the onset of monsoon in Kerala by May 27 five days ago. By the way, the monsoon usually arrives in Kerala on June 1.

In such a situation, the department said that heavy rainfall is also expected in Kerala and coastal and south interior Karnataka on several days of the week. At the same time, there has been a severe flood in the state of Assam and Tripura is also receiving heavy rains. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday visited waterlogged routes and affected areas in Agartala following heavy rains. However, after some relief, the temperature has risen across northwest India on Thursday and 47 in Barmer. A temperature of 1 degree Celsius was recorded, which is the highest temperature in the country. With this, strong winds are expected to blow in the capital Delhi on Friday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has given this information.

In the meantime, the national capital continues to experience severe heatwave conditions. In Delhi, the maximum temperature on Thursday was 43 degrees above normal, three degrees above normal. 6 degrees Celsius was recorded, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27, one degree above normal. 5°C was recorded. The Meteorological Department has predicted a partly cloudy sky in the day last Friday and thundershowers in the evening. In fact, the Meteorological Department says that today i.e. on Friday, there will be strong winds with a speed of 20-30 kilometres per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 44°C and 29°C respectively. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert in the wake of strong winds accompanied by a dust storm on Saturday.

Apart from this, a yellow alert has also been issued for May 23 and 24. At the same time, for the next three to four days, the sky is likely to be partly cloudy and there will be thunderstorms. Apart from this, most parts of Rajasthan continued to reel under heatwave on Thursday and all major places recorded a rise in temperature ranging from one degree to four degrees Celsius. In fact, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information.

According to the department, the day temperature at all major places in the state was recorded by two degrees to five degrees above normal. Apart from this, he said that due to severe heatwaves in Barmer and Dholpur and the rise in temperature, people had to face severe heatwaves and normal life was affected. Other major cities of the state also continued to reel under heatwave conditions on Thursday.
