At the same time, according to the information given by IMD, heavy rain may occur in Bihar between 31 July and 01 August and in the remaining parts of East and Northeast India from 31 July-02 August. According to the Meteorological Department, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely to continue over central India for the next four to five days.

Apart from this, rain is continuing in East Rajasthan as well as West Rajasthan. According to the weather forecast, light to moderate rain may occur today in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, parts of Madhya Pradesh, and South. Apart from this, light rain is possible over isolated parts of Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Ladakh and Rajasthan.
