It was told that the low-pressure area over the Saurashtra region of Gujarat has reached the coastal parts, moving in the north-western direction. A trough is extending from this system up to North Rajasthan.

A cyclonic circulation has developed over North Punjab and adjoining areas. On the other hand, the axis of monsoon has come over Punjab in North India. At this time, the monsoon trough is extending from Punjab to Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gangetic parts of West Bengal. Talking about the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many areas of Uttar Pradesh on 10 July.
