Bihar is under a low-pressure area, which will move in the northeast direction and then slowly will weaken. According to the MET department, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in some districts of UP and Haryana. The weather is expected to remain dry in the national capital. According to IMD, today (Sunday) Dadri, Mattanhel, Kosli in Haryana while Shamli, Kandhala, Badaun, Firozabad and adjoining areas of UP may receive light to moderate intensity rainfall on 3rd October.

The same local meteorological department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in several districts of eastern UP including Lucknow till October 7. Thereafter, there will be a near halt to the rainfall activities. The MET department in its forecast said that light to moderate rainfall may occur in several districts including Lucknow, Ballia, Varanasi, Bahraich, Sultanpur, Amethi, Ayodhya, Banda, Prayagraj amid cloudy movement for the next 2 days.

With this, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius today (Sunday) which is five degrees above normal this season. The MET department has predicted partly cloudy conditions in Delhi. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius. As per the forecast, Delhi is unlikely to receive monsoon rainfall now. According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, a cyclonic circulation is over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It stretches up to 5.8 km above sea level.
