World-famous comic book artist Tim Sale passed away on June 17. Tim breathed his last at the age of 66. Tim has teamed up with writer Jeff Loeb to portray several comics like Batman: The Long Halloween and Superman for All Seasons. The news of Tim's demise has been revealed by a post on his official Twitter account.  

The tweet read: "It is with great sadness that it is to be announced that Tim Sale passed away today. He loved you all so much. Please share photos and stories with this post. Fans are liking this tweet and are engaged in expressing grief. DC Comics expressed grief over Tim's death and wrote: "Tim was an exceptional artist. The truly human depth in his iconic characters was to be seen. His tremendous page design has changed the way an entire generation of comic book storys think of telling. Tim will miss us all so much,  our condolences to his family and friends.

Reports say that Tim has been admitted to the hospital this week due to a serious health problem. This was reported by his family and friends. Tim has worked with comics writer Jeff Loeb on stories of Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and Captain America. Their aim was to make all the superhero stories reach home.
