These days one of the biggest problems is obesity. Due to changes in lifestyle patterns and surrounding these days obesity is increasing. Even after following a proper diet and tight schedule, there is a number of reasons why you are not able to lose weight.  Losing weight requires a mix of eating nutritious foods, cutting calories, and being physically active. Here are 5 mistakes you should stop doing if you are on diet.

Do not skip Breakfast: There is a myth that if you eat less food you can lose weight but it is wrong. This may lead to unplanned snacking at work and eating a supersized portion at lunch, making calorie counts soar. According to the study people who eat breakfast every morning are more likely to maintain a healthy weight.

Unplanned diet: Having a proper plan what are you eating, when you are eating and how much you eat plays important role in losing weight. If you have a little slice of cake at a party, the taste of your son's ice cream cone. A little taste causes you more weight gain.  If you're serious about counting calories, then don’t do this.

Do not skip snacks: Having a small portion of food and snacks in the middle is better than eating big amount of food at once. People who eat several small meals and snacks a day are more likely to control hunger and lose weight. Having a few nuts is a good, high-protein choice, and research suggests people who snack on nuts tend to be slimmer than those who don't.

 Skipping water: Some people drink very less amount water. If you drink less water than your diet will not show the desired results. Drink enough water, this is one of the simplest diet mistakes to fix. If you let yourself get dehydrated, your metabolism drags, and that means slower weight loss.

Eating your meal fast: Take time to eat your meal, and chew every bite properly.  Our hectic schedules have led many of us to adopt the unhealthy habit of rapid eating.  You need to adopt more of leisurely, European-style eating so that we can savor our food, taste every bite, and get the signal of fullness before overeating.
