In Tamil Nadu, an Indian Air Force helicopter suddenly crashed in a western ghat village in the Nilgiri hills. There was fog in the afternoon last Wednesday and due to this, when the IAF helicopter crashed there, people did not understand what was happening there. Shortly thereafter, when the locals reached the accident site, they found that an IAF helicopter had crashed here. India's first chief defence president General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others on board the helicopter were killed. Tell all of you that people could not get very close to the accident site because the flames were very strong.

Another villager and one of the first to reach the spot was Shivakumar. Recently, he said, "There were 11 people in the burning helicopter, while three were found a few metres away, after the helicopter crashed, they may have fallen away or fled to save lives. He had serious injuries on his body. One of the injured was moaning. In a hushed voice, he asked us for water. At the same time, the eyewitness said, "The rescue team faced difficulties. There was no way to carry the fire engine to douse the flames. We had to fetch water from nearby rivers and houses into utensils and put them in the fire. The operation was very difficult, we had to open the toothed pieces of the chopper to retrieve the bodies. People could hardly be evacuated. On the other hand, fireman C Dandapani said, "Since ambulances could not reach the spot, they received sheets from residents to take the injured from the ghat. '

Eyewitnesses said, "There was a loud noise, the flames were very strong in which the helicopter was destroyed, the occupants were killed and large trees were reduced to ashes. On the other hand, a senior police official in Chennai told PTI, "The helicopter crashed in a wild area, which is very close to a tea garden. The main route to this area goes through the tea garden. Locals and labourers saw what happened soon after the accident. "The defence officials will tell you about the accident," he said. '
