HYDERABAD: "We are triumphant Telangana, not just vibrant Telangana." K. T. Rama Rao, Telangana's Industries and Information Technology Minister, reacted to the state's latest growth statistics in this way.

Telangana's State Gross Domestic Product (GSDP) surged by 130 percent between 2014 and 2021, according to the minister, while per capita income jumped by 125 percent.
From Rs 5 lakh crore in 2014 to Rs 11.54 lakh crore in 2021, the GSDP has grown. In 2021, per capita income will have risen from Rs 1,24,104 in 2014 to Rs 2,78,833.

The minister shared a clipping from a piece in a leading Telugu newspaper that cited information from the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. "The figures speak for themselves," KTR, as the minister is known, tweeted.

According to the report, Telangana has the highest GSDP growth rate in the country from 2021 to 2022. The GSDP climbed by 19.10% over the previous year, while per capita income increased by 18.78%. "This is the growth trajectory of India's newest state. Despite major obstacles such as the bifurcation blues, demonetization, the Corona pandemic, and the Indian government's lack of assistance, "KTR, who is also the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, took to Twitter to express his feelings.
