Lucknow: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating the October 3 violence in Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri district. SIT remanded Ashish Mishra Monu and Ankit Das, sons of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, the main accused in the case, to question them. A team from SIT had also arrived in Lucknow on October 15 with Ankit Das and Latif alias Kale.

The SIT team took Ankit Das and Latif to the flat of an apartment in Hussainganj in Lucknow for investigation. SIT had found two weapons from Ankit Das's flat. Now, the weapons of Ashish Mishra Monu, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni and Ankit, son of former Union Minister Akhilesh Das, have been sent to forensic lab by Lakhimpur police for testing.

According to reports, police have sent two weapons of Ashish Mishra and two weapons of Ankit Das to forensic lab for investigation.
