Kolkata: Violent clashes broke out between workers of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal's Barrackpore district on Monday. In fact, the BJP has announced a 12-hour shutdown on Monday to protest against the attack on MP Arjun Singh on Sunday. BJP workers were protesting against the state government, during which they have clashed with TMC workers. The information has been revealed about the injuries of 25 BJP workers in this clash.

The situation is under some tension after violent clashes in the Barrackpore-Barasat area. In front of the police, supporters of both parties ran and beat each other to the workers. On Sunday, BJP leader Arjun Singh was attacked. In protest against this, BJP announced a 12-hour bandh in Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency on Monday.

Let us tell you that BJP MP Arjun Singh reached out to the party workers in Shyamnagar. Meanwhile, TMC workers vandalized his car. BJP workers, led by Arjun Singh, went and took control of their party office, which TMC workers were trying to capture. BJP workers had also taken down posters with photographs of Mamta Banerjee from the party office. A situation of confrontation arose between the two-party workers about this.
