Kolkata: The third phase of voting is going on in West Bengal today. Meanwhile, information has been received that till 1 pm in Bengal, 42.10% polling has been recorded. However, reports of sporadic violence are also coming to light during the voting in Bengal. Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Sujata Mandal Khan has been attacked in Arambagh. TMC alleges that they have been attacked with bricks. 

Sujatha Mandal said that some people came by putting on masks, who attacked her. Sujata said BJP goons threatened and harassed women, voters, last night. He further said that TMC candidate from Arambagh Sujata Mandal Khan said that the situation is fine in many places. But the situation is not right where we are strong. At booth number 45, people voted for TMC, but the vote is going to the BJP. Our workers were beaten in Arandi-ii. Central forces are also not neutral. They are asking people to vote for the BJP.

Let us know that the maximum number of 11 candidates are in the fray from the Diamond Harbor seat in Bengal. 8,840 polling booths have been built. 832 companies of security forces have been deployed for this phase. 307 companies have been set up in South 24 Parganas, 167 in Hooghly, and 144 in Howrah to maintain security.
