Kolkata: The Ministry of Home Affairs has sent a notice to a student of Bangladesh studying in Visva Bharati University of West Bengal. Bangladeshi student Afsara is accused that she has been involved in anti-India activities. After this, now they will have to leave India by 29 February. The notice is issued by the Foreign Regional Registration Office of Kolkata, which comes under the Union Home Ministry.

Vishwa Bharati University is a central university and Afsara Anika Meem, a resident of Bangladesh, is a graduate student here and is doing a designing course. Afsara is accused of writing posts against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Facebook. Along with the Facebook post, Afsara also participated in the protest against CAA. This notice was issued to Afsara on February 14, but now February 29 is near, in such a situation that the matter is once again in the church.

According to Student Federation members, in December, Afsara wrote a post against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Facebook. Which went viral and was also criticized a lot. Bangladesh Deputy High Commission present in Kolkata said that they have not yet received any notice of this matter.
