Kolkata: A shocking incident has come to light from the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The mother here scolded the child for playing games on his mobile, the child became so angry that after some time the body of the minor was found hanging from a rope. This tragic incident is from Namkhana in South 24 Parganas. The deceased schoolboy has been identified as Durant Das (14). This whole incident has spread mourning in the family. Namkhana police station has registered a case of unusual death and started an investigation.

According to reports, a schoolboy committed suicide by tying a rope around his neck due to his mother's scolding. A youth named Durant Das is a resident of Deonagar Purba Pada under the Namkhana block of South 24 Parganas district. Durant, the 14-year-old son of the Das couple, hanged himself with a rope in his own house. Durant used to study in the 7th class of Debnagar Mokshada Dinda HS School. The minor was average in studies but had a mobile addiction. 

According to reports, the body of the minor was found hanging near the toilet of the house. According to family sources, Durant's mother scolded Durant for a long time yesterday morning because of his mobile phone addiction. Then after a long time in the afternoon, Durant did not appear anywhere in the house. At around 2 o'clock the family members went to the toilet behind the house and saw Durant hanging in the toilet. Durant was immediately extricated from the trap and taken to Dwarkanagar Primary Hospital, but soon after being taken to the hospital, doctors declared Durant brought dead.
