Kolkata: There is a period of political violence in West Bengal that is not taking the name of a pause. BJP leaders are being killed one after the other in the state. The recent case has come to light from Gaighat in Hooghly where the body of a BJP worker has been found in a canal. The body is said to be from BJP activist Kashinath Ghosh. After the body of Kashinath Ghosh was found, the BJP has accused TMC activist Lalchand Bagh of being involved in the murder. The BJP alleges that Lalchand Bagh may have been involved in Ghosh's assassination.

On the other hand, the TMC has denied the BJP's allegations saying it could be the result of a fight or hostility by the BJP worker. The TMC has nothing to do with Ghosh's murder. The BJP maintains that Kashinath Ghosh was an active activist of the party and people in the area liked him very much and that is why Kashinath has been killed.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred in West Bengal. In West Bengal, frequent political violence brings to light the killings of party workers. Earlier, a BJP worker was allegedly shot dead in North Pargana in the state. Tension in the region over the clash between TMC and BJP workers in Parui in Birbhum district was also reported in the media in the past.
