Kolkata: Lockdown has been in force across the country for several months due to global epidemic coronavirus infection. But the West Bengal Board had already conducted these examinations. All the candidates are eagerly waiting for the results of WBBSE 10th, the students who have given the exam are keeping a close watch on the official website of the board wbbse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in for the latest updates.

According to the sources, the WBBSE is expected to declare the Class 10 exam results by August i.e. two months late. The West Bengal Board had completed the secondary examinations before the lockdown was implemented. This year, about 10.16 lakh students appeared in the 10th class examinations of West Bengal. The examinations started on 18 February and lasted till 27 February.

Last week, the WBBSE had asked the head examiners to separate the answer books of the 10th class board examination from the answer sheets of the board examination 2020, so that the process could be announced. West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that after the end of the lockdown in the state, the date of publication of the result will be determined.
