Kolkata:After 2019 Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, there have been incidents of the skirmish in political parties have been reported. On Wednesday night, a Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker was killed during a similar uproar in the state's district of Bihar. His family and the local TMC leader allege that a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with his supporters have beaten him to death.

The deceased TMC worker is identified as Azjar Ali. It is being told he was returning home. However, there has been no response from the police in the case. Tensions have prevailed in the area since the killing of the TMC worker. It may be noted that violent clashes between political parties have been taking place since the time of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal.

On Wednesday, CM and TMC supremo of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, took an aggressive stand on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and gave a strong message to her rivals that ' whoever hits us will be shattered. ' Mamata Banerjee greeted people on the Red Road here. A large number of people arrived at the Red Road to offer prayers.
