Dilip Ghosh furious over MLAs returning from BJP to TMC

Kolkata: West Bengal is already witnessing defections in the assembly elections. In fact, there was a stampede in the TMC before the elections and now the same stampede is being seen in the BJP here. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh has recently slammed Kaliaganj BJP MLA Soumen Roy for joining the TMC. Recently, he said, 'Defection has now become a fashion. There are three or four people who have come from another party and they have never been able to be a part of their party, but they are not cows and goats that they will keep tied up.''

At the same time, let us also tell you that in the recent past, three BJP MLAs have joined the TMC continuously. In fact, last Saturday, Soumen Roy, MLA from Kaliaganj in North Dinajpur, joined the party in the presence of TMC General Secretary Partha Chatterjee at Trinamool Bhawan. Mukul Roy was the first to leave BJP and join TMC after the recent assembly elections and since then this has been a continuous trend. Now, seeing all this, Dilip Ghosh says, "There are three or four people who have never come with the party. He came from another party. We nominated him and also enhanced an MLA, but our party has also had a dispute with him from the very beginning. But we gave them their place and they won.''

Apart from this, Dilip Ghosh also said, "Now he may have some difficulty, he has various personal interests and business interests! Someone is being pressured, threatened, greedy is being shown, those who are unable to bear it are leaving. All those who changed parties are people who have come from Trinamool Congress to BJP, they are leaving because of their business and profit. Mukul Roy can go, anyone can leave."
