Kolkata: The results of the elections in West Bengal are due to be declared today. There is a grand contest between the BJP and the Trinamool Congress and it will be interesting to see who wins the game. You must know that Mamata Banerjee has been in power for 10 years but this time BJP is pitting her. Counting of votes has started at different counting centers in Bengal. As part of the information received, counting centers are crowded with agents and now election trends have also started coming in.

Till recently, BJP was leading in 4 seats and TMC is leading in 1 seat. After that, Trinamool Congress started leading in 19 seats and BJP in 14 seats. The picture seems to be changing very fast in the upcoming trends, though these are still early trends. In West Bengal, trends have come in for 100 seats, so far 53 seats have come to the TMC account and 47 seats in the BJP account. These are all early trends, there is no result yet. The two parties are currently giving each other a thorn in the arm in the trends. On the other hand, it is also reported that TMC is leading in Bolpur, Nanur seat of Bengal while BJP is leading in Santhiya seat.

The TMC is leading in Baruipur West. BJP is leading in the Habibpur seat of Malda. Another news is that an election employee's health deteriorated during counting in 24 Parganas in West Bengal. First aid is being given by removing the employee from the counting site.
