Kolkata: Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has once again attacked CM Mamata Banerjee's government. In fact, the Governor has put the State Government in the dock over the violence after the elections. Now, recently, he said, "There is still unrest in the state. The police are not paying attention to it. The violence is being carried out solely with the aim of punishing the opposition". The Governor recently tweeted. The tweet reads, "The way violence is taking place after the elections is embarrassing humanity. The police are not doing anything. As a result, the courage of the people is increasing. This is being done to completely punish the Opposition".

Earlier last Saturday also, the Governor had tweeted at midnight. In it, he had tagged Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and in his tweet expressed displeasure over the situation in the state. He had also tagged the DG of the state police and questioned the role of the police in the prevailing law and order situation in the state, sending a message against the police administration. Most importantly, the Governor has again complained that post-election violence is still going on in different parts of the state, but the police are not taking appropriate steps to stop it.

All of you must be aware that the Governor had earlier tweeted about the chief minister's absence in the Kalaikunda meeting. During that time, the Governor claimed that Mamata Banerjee had then hinted at boycotting the meeting. In his tweet, the Governor had written, "She called me and indicated that she would boycott the meeting if Shubhendu had the right to do so".
