There has been protest in West Bengal for a long time. CM Mamata Banerjee has once again given a statement about not implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Civil Register (NRC) in her state. In Bankura, Mamta Banerjee said that I have seen a report that 15 BJP workers in Howrah went to a jewellery shop and asked for the necessary documents related to CAA / NRC. Who are they and who has given them this right? If they come to your house, do not give any paper to anyone.
Mamta Banerjee further said that banks and post offices are surveying without naming the BJP, they are going from house to house. Nobody needs to give any kind of information to them. They cannot do this without the approval of the state government. Mamta Banerjee was addressing a program in Bankura on Wednesday.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that consumers who use up to 75 units of electricity in a quarter will not have to pay electricity bills. Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress government has decided that the tea gardens will not have to pay any income tax between the next two financial years 2020 to 2021.
