Kolkata: The results of assembly elections in five states are coming out today, with West Bengal being considered as the most important state. In the trends so far, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress has scored a double century, which means TMC has crossed the magic figure of the majority. The BJP is seen as the opposition with a lead of about 87 seats. The BJP's claim has gone to Didi on May 2, has failed.  People are saying that on 2nd May, Mamata has come.

Meanwhile, a piece of big news is emerging that Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has returned from the Nandigram assembly seat from where BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari has lost the lead. Mamata was following Suvendu till the counting of votes for several rounds. However, the margin of votes was not large. Suvendu had taken an increase of 8 to 9,000, which he has now lost.

State that the term of the West Bengal Assembly ends on May 30, 2021. In such a situation, the process of forming the Assembly and the new government is to be completed before 30th May. West Bengal has a total of 294 assembly seats. Mamata Banerjee has been the CM here for the last 10 years. It will now be interesting to see if the BJP can hoist the Victory Paracham in Bengal as senior party leaders and PM Modi himself have campaigned here.
